US SOCCER x VW
In 2019, Volkswagen proudly announced their partnership with U.S. Soccer supporting the U.S. Men's, Women's and all Youth National Teams as they train and compete on the world stage. Volkswagen of America is committed to growing soccer in America, on and off the field. As the Presenting Partner, Volkswagen has been working with the Federation in support of its mission to help make soccer, in all its forms, the preeminent sport in the United States by supporting efforts to increate participation, develop world class players, coaches, and increase fan engagement around the sport.
VW's Social Team provided creative and visual direction for VW x U.S. Soccer's partnership for VW's social media channels. My role in this process ranged from establishing the overall look & feel, designing graphics for social, assisting in production for sponsored video ads, and producing motion graphic videos.

2019 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP - GAME DAY PROMO VIDEO
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, contested by 24 teams, took place between June 7 and July 2019, with 52 matches staged in nine cities in France. To support and cheer on the U.S. Women's National Team, VW created several motion graphic videos that were published on VW's Instagram Feed on game day. The concept of these videos highlighted the parallels between the speed and performance of VW vehicles to the powerful women players of the U.S. Women's National Team.

ROLL MODELS - MIA HAMM
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Through VW's partnership with U.S. Soccer, the VW Social Team found a unique opportunity to support young women who are aspiring professional soccer athletes. We identified several factors that are negatively affecting female participation in sports, including a lack of positive role models, lack of access to proper training, and social stigma. In order to address these issues, we developed a series titled "Roll Models" that proves young women a one-on-one learning opportunity with all-star WNT players.
VW's first installment of Roll Models features USWNT legend, Mia Hamm. The girls of Palo Alto Soccer club are showing up on an early Sunday morning for an inter-squad scrimmage. To their shock and surprise, Mia Hamm rolls up, invites them to jump in our fleet of VW atlas', and join her in the USWNT match (1st in a series of 3 WWC send-off matches). We'll hear from the girls and Mia as they drive to Levi's Stadium. From there, they will go on the sideline to meet many of the current USWNT players, and then go up to the stands to watch their idols play on the field.
